Stone Staircases

Maltese stone, horseshoe staircase. This piece of works looks just as impressive 2 decades on since it was built by Stonecraft in the early 1990s out of imported Maltese Stone.

Ancaster stone, cantilevered stone staircase. Encompassing *36* treads, this cantilevered staircase spans three stores. With no 'modern day' structural supports, cantilevered staircases completely support themselves, and impressive feat only *theoretically* proven through complex maths equations (proven centuries earlier only in practice; an example can be found in Milners Tower, Bradda Head, Port Erin, Isle of Man).
